| The 48–50AZ/UZ packaged rooftop
units are versatile and efficient air conditioners, designed
for outdoor installation. The units are self-contained and
can be installed in commercial and industrial applications.
The product range has cooling capacity from 43kW up to
116 kW and heating capacity from 45kW up to 120kW, when
combined with Gas heat their heating capacity can reach up
to 94 kW
The units can operate either with electrical refrigerant
cycle only as cooling units (50AZ) and heat pumps (50UZ), or
they can combine their heating operation with Natural Gas Or
LPG.
The gas heating system is designed to be used as an
environment friendly alternative to the hot water coil or
electric heating options.
The rooftop unit is available with three gas heating
modules with two step heating for natural gas and one-step
heating for LPG in 48AZ/UZ016-028 series rooftop units. In
48AZ034-040 series rooftop units, two of same modules are
working in series with three-step heating for natural gas
and two-step heating for LPG.
The new refrigerant R-407C offers an economical solution
to environmental protection problems. The components of
these units are specifically designed for the new
refrigerant, and the units have been submitted to the
necessary laboratory tests to ensure perfect operation.
Reduced size and weight make these units ideal for
today's lightweight building structures.
Models 016, 024, 028 have scroll compressors; the other
sizes have reciprocating hermetic compressors. All are
designed for use with R-407C and include a thermal cutout to
protect the motor against overloads and over temperatures.
The revolutionary, low-noise, two-speed Flying Bird III
fan is made of a composite recyclable material and employs a
multi-blade design and a rotating shroud, as used in the
aeronautical industry. It is exceptionally quiet, and does
not generate the low-frequency noise, irritating the human
ear. At part load or low outdoor temperatures the fan
automatically switches to the low speed.
The heat exchangers are made of high quality staggered
copper tubing, mechanically bonded in pre-coated corrugated
Aluminum fins, with a high level of corrosion and UV
protection.
The Pro-Dialog Plus control provides user – friendly
operation with easy reading of all operation parameters such
as temperatures, pressures, operation hours and alarm
history.
The units are fully wired in accordance with EN standards
and include thermo magnetic circuit breakers and a main
disconnect switch. Electrical connections are simplified,
and the standard equipment includes a main disconnect switch,
and a single entry point of the three-phase without neutral
power supply the whole unit.
