Our 30AW AquaSnap® PLUS inverter chillers heat pumps
declined in three sizes, offer cooling capacities ranging
from 5 kW to 14 kW and heating capacities from 6 kW to 12 kW,
featuring the latest R-410A Puron refrigerant and providing
energy efficient solutions suitable for light commercial
applications.
This range of chillers and reversible heat pumps makes
use of the latest inverter technology to ensure power at
peak load conditions, combined with energy efficiency from
20 up to 120 per cent of nominal capacity.
Carrier’s exclusive DC inverter technology combines Pulse
Amplitude Modulation (PAM) which drives the compressor at
maximum load conditions, for example at start up. Thereafter,
the Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) kicks in when part load
conditions are required.
The result is an exceptionally high efficiency ratio in
both cooling with an EER of 3.6 (SEER 4.3) and heating with
a COP of 3.9.
With the launch of this reversible unit, Carrier is one
of the first manufacturers to offer inverter packaged heat
pumps in the range of 6 to 12 kW capable of producing 60°C
leaving water temperature without electrical backup heating;
delivering heating on cold days with outside temperature as
low as -20°C.
Compatible with all Carrier fan coil units, these plug
and play solutions are available off the shelf. |
